Revenues should not remain in the till for long periods, where they are vulnerable to theft.
With a deposit flap, cash bags or envelopes can be deposited immediately without opening the safe.

In workshops and rental companies, deposit safes with a flap are often used for secure key storage.

Differences compared to drawer models
While drawer models are mainly suitable for larger cash amounts or receipts, the flap offers advantages for:

Security levels A and B
In security level A, the bodies are single-walled with a 3 mm wall and 6 mm door; insurance assessment approx. €1,500 cash. The security level B models 10423 and 10424 are double-walled with 40 mm total thickness. Both levels are built according to VDMA 24992.

What are deposit safes with flap suitable for?
For cash bags, envelopes and keys: items are deposited without opening the safe – in bakeries after the end of a shift, in workshops and rental companies when keys are handed over.
Can deposited items be taken back out?
No. A retrieval safeguard prevents unauthorised removal.
Which security level do I need?
Level A is single-walled, insurance assessment approx. €1,500 cash. Level B (10423, 10424) is double-walled. Both levels are built according to VDMA 24992; the safes themselves are not certified – your insurer confirms which amount is covered.
Is there a time delay?
Yes, on the 10424: opening delay 1 to 40 minutes, opening window 1 to 20 minutes.
How is the safe fixed?
Using all fixing points, directly against the wall or floor without a gap, never hanging freely. The models 10125, 10126, 10127, 10181 and 10187 are anchored to the floor. Fastening material is included.
What happens if a key is lost?
We recommend replacing the lock; as the manufacturer, DiaDorn has kept replacement locks in stock since 2013. We make duplicate keys from a sample – with the original key and invoice.
Can I set the safe up outdoors?
No, deposit safes are built for indoor use.
How fast is delivery?
Stock items are delivered within Germany in 1–2 working days; delivery abroad takes longer depending on the country.
