Deposit Safe | Deposit At The Front – Retrieval At The Back | Security level A
Our drop down safes / depository safes of the dCash series are equipped with a drop down flap and are suitable for dropping more than just envelopes with cash.
This model from our PAYdesk series was developed especially for those who need a deposit on the outside (at the front) and retrieval on the inside (at the back)
The large drop down flap measures H 52 x W 225 x D 185 mm and allows easy insertion of money bags, car keys, medication, and other items that are to be safely stored.
The retrieval safeguard prevents the unauthorized retrieval of valuables.
The drop down safe features an electronic lock with LCD display, 2 users, and 2 emergency keys. It can be mounted on the ground and rear wall. The supply scope includes 4 heavy load anchors (steel dowels), 4 AA batteries for the lock, and 2 emergency keys.
It is built according to VDMA 24992 security level A guidelines and, thus, features a 3 mm thick steel body and a 6 mm thick steel door.
Correct mounting of the safe:
When choosing a location for your safe, it should be considered that although it is possible to mount the safe on the ground and/or wall (depending on the safe), in most cases the ground offers a more secure position, making the safe better protected. However, there are some exceptions that should be considered. A ground mounting on hardwood floors is either not sensible or does not conform to insurance policies and is not possible when there is under floor heating. A standing safe should best be mounted in a room corner in order to minimize possible points of contact. If a safe has gaps to the walls, the anchoring can be damaged using leverages. Therefore, gaps should be avoided during assembly. Furthermore, possible interfering baseboard should be avoided. The safe can be anchored in the ground or rear wall.
Summary standing safe:
- Mounting preferably in a corner
- Mounting preferably on the ground
- No gaps to the walls
- Stable anchoring in ground and/or wall
- Size of the safe (including protruding handles, etc.) should be aligned with existing passage ways (doors, etc.)
