The large drop down safe Paydesk 03 is equipped with a lockable drop down flap
for additional security. This is to ensure that only authorized personnel can drop assets into the safe. 5 keys for the drop down flap are included.
In addition, the drop down safe is equipped with a retrieval safeguard.
Its large drop down flap offers sufficient space to drop larger assets, such as money bags, envelopes, car keys or other valuables, without difficulty.
Its main locking mechanism consists of a double-bit key lock with 2 large steel bolts that ensure secure locking. 2 keys are included.
The drop down safe is built according to VDMA 24992 Security Level A and thus features a 3 mm thick steel body and a 6 mm thick steel door.
This safe can be mounted to the floor or the rear wall with 2 anchor points each. Four heavy load anchors to mount the safe are included.
Correct mounting of the safe:
When choosing a location for your safe, it should be considered that although it is possible to mount the safe on the ground and/or wall (depending on the safe), in most cases the ground offers a more secure position, making the safe better protected. However, there are some exceptions that should be considered. A ground mounting on hardwood floors is either not sensible or does not conform to insurance policies and is not possible when there is under floor heating. A standing safe should best be mounted in a room corner in order to minimize possible points of contact. If a safe has gaps to the walls, the anchoring can be damaged using leverages. Therefore, gaps should be avoided during assembly. Furthermore, possible interfering baseboard should be avoided. The safe can be anchored in the ground or rear wall.
Summary standing safe:
- Mounting preferably in a corner
- Mounting preferably on the ground
- No gaps to the walls
- Stable anchoring in ground and/or wall
- Size of the safe (including protruding handles, etc.) should be aligned with existing passage ways (doors, etc.)
